2020 – Processing in particularly cold environments requires components made of specific materials that are not altered by rigid temperatures and keep all their technical pluses intact.
Eaton Couplings, thinking precisely of these hostile climates, has added a new type of gasket for standard couplings: FVMQ at -60 ° C.
This particular elastomer allows the use of quick couplings with temperatures ranging from -60 ° C to + 170 ° C, therefore perfect for cold environments (such as Siberia or Alaska) but also for hydraulic circuits subjected to milder temperatures.
The WA6000 series screw couplings are particularly suitable, available in both carbon steel and stainless steel, designed to be used with pressures up to 1000 bar.
