Preformed rubber hoses are flexible tubes molded into specific shapes (bends, fittings, complex geometries) through vulcanization and molding processes. Unlike traditional linear hoses, preformed hoses maintain their shape even under complex operating conditions, allowing for more compact, reliable, and mechanically stress-resistant installations.
These components are made from special rubber compounds (NBR, HNBR, EPDM, FKM, VMQ, etc.), including co-extruded ones, with or without reinforcement (Kevlar, Metataramide, Polyester), and selected based on the fluid transported, operating temperature, and environmental conditions.
